Looking at buying some wheels for my GTR.......

Will a Front 20x10 w/ a +30 offset work for my fronts? And can I run my stock tires on them? ( 255/40/20)

Than I am looking at my rear rims, which are 20x10.5 w/ an offset of +40, again running on stock rears......

Please let me know what you think... I am a fairly new GTR owner, and what the best fitment possible, without getting overly aggressive.

Be easy on me!!!!

Thanksin advance

Compared to OEM front (20x9.5" et45) and rear (20x10.5" et25) wheels-

Front 20x10" et30 - will be 8.6mm further away from the inner suspension and poke out 21.4mm more, this is OK with stock (255/40-20) tires (not 245/40 as mentioned)

255/45-20 tires can fit rims 8.5-10" wide, perfect fit for 9.5" wide rim. If using stock suspension you can also use 285/35-20 on this front wheel size.

Rear 20x10.5 et40 - will be 15mm closer to the inner suspension and be 15mm inward vs OEM wheel. The remedy is to use a 15-20mm rear wheel spacer which will move the wheel back to the OEM wheel fitment.

AutoXGTR..... I saw this post with the wheels I want... and it says the following: [background=rgb(0, 0, 0)]The M149 Verona's are finished with a liquid Anthracite paint and a seen here with a +30mm offset. The Q50, done by Mecca Motorpsorts, features BC Racing coilovers and the 20x10.5 Verona's are wrapped in 245/40/20. [/background]2

This is showing a 10.5 rims all the way around.... Will my tire stretch to a 10.5, or will I have to get a bigger tire? Also, will a +30mm offset work all the way around? 10.5 inch rims all the way around?

I don't know the answer to that question. I only know that the front is okay because that is what I have. 255 on a 10.5 will fit but it will be pretty stretched. I wouldn't do it. You are better off with a 285 on a 10.5" rim.

As discussed, the front at 20x10 +30 will fit perfectly fine and you can run the 255 tires.

The rear will not fit well at all.

Realistically, you'll need a 40mm spacer to make the rears fit properly and have them match the flushness of the fronts.

Based on this, I would recommend you pass on this fitment and find a wheel that more properly fits.

If I can be of any further assistance, feel free to PM me.

Am I the only one that thinks even given the same wheel width and offset, the biggest factor is still on the spoke design?

You can have two wheels with identical width and offsets but different spoke design, but only one will actually clear the brake calipers. So unless you all know the particular wheel he is looking into, hard to say whether the wheels will fit if they haven't been actually tested.
